Devotedly is an AI companion app made by Rycara Labs LLC ("Rycara Labs," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Devotedly is intended for adults 18 and older.
When you create an account by signing in with Apple or Google, we receive basic profile information such as your email address and name. We use a third-party authentication and database provider (Supabase) to manage your account.
To provide the experience, we store the content you create in the app: your conversations with your companion, the companions you set up (their name, personality, and settings), and the "memories" the app saves so your companion can remember details about you and adapt over time.
If you choose to share a photo or use avatar and image features, the images you provide are processed to generate or personalize companion images. You control whether to use these features.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled by the Apple App Store, Google Play, and our subscription manager (RevenueCat). We receive your purchase and subscription status so we can unlock features, but we do not receive or store your full payment card details.
We use Google Firebase to collect app-usage analytics (for example, which screens are viewed and which features are used) and crash and diagnostic data, so we can fix problems and improve the app. We also collect basic technical information such as device type, operating system, and app version.
Devotedly uses artificial intelligence to generate your companion's replies and images. To do this, your messages and the relevant context are sent to third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic and other model and image-generation providers), which process them to produce a response. We do not sell your conversations, and we do not use them to advertise to you.

Devotedly may show optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob. These ads are non-personalized — we do not present a tracking prompt and do not track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising purposes.
We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete your associated personal data, except where we are required to retain it for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Devotedly is for adults 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We are based in the United States, and your information is processed there. By using Devotedly, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes may be communicated in the app.
